From the Front Porch

Happy Friday from the front porch sweet friends! I can hardly believe we’re about to unofficially kick off the summer season this weekend.

How are you?

It’s been another tough week, hasn’t it?

There have been times, especially lately, when I’ve been at a complete loss for words.

Times when it feels like words have lost their power and are no longer enough.

And when those times happen, I stop and listen.

Then I take action.

There is ALWAYS something we can do no matter how big or small or insignificant it might feel at the time.

Our kids deserve better.

Our teachers deserve better.

Our first responders deserve better.

We deserve better.

And so do the families of the fallen, who have risked their lives and paid the ultimate sacrifice for our freedoms.

Of all those beautiful things, the thing that most intrigued me was the Goat paper clip! LOL Where ever di you find those?

    1. Those goat paper clips are so fun, aren’t they Mary? My sister got those for me when the Magnolia line first came to Target. I haven’t seen them recently but I wish daily they would bring them back! If I see anything similar I’ll be sure to share because I’m definitely on the hunt. Hope your week is filled with all good things, CoCo

  3. Another great gathering of Cindy’s needed “essentials”. Those houses were amazing and yep, I could move right in as well. And I’m totally making a sandwich board this weekend! I heart sammies! Hope you are doing well? Seems like life is getting busier and I haven’t been able to chat with you in a while. Miss you

    1. You’re so sweet, Cindy, thanks so much for always supporting this post. Those homes, right? They get me every time. I think my Mom is going to try out the sammie board for the 4th of July so if you try it before then let us know how it works out. It looks like such a great idea for feeding a crowd. I’ll send you an email later today and catch you up. Until then, I’m sending you lots of love and hugs, CoCo

    1. Such a kind and thoughtful thing to say, Cindy, thank you. We’ve been spending extra time at the cabin and the wi-fi is not always dependable so I’m catching up while it’s working. It’s such a peaceful place I’m definitely going to have a hard time leaving. Hope your summer season is off to a great start too. Big hugs, CoCo
