Galentine’s Day Gift Basket Ideas
We’re sharing Galentine’s Day Gift Basket Ideas today!
Recently, I ran out of tinted moisturizer while my Mom and I were on our Birthday Retreat.
Looking back, it was a blessing in disguise because it all but forced me to find a replacement product at a big box beauty store.
While I’ve always wanted to look my best, I still feel relatively new when it comes to makeup and skincare.
Big box beauty stores can feel intimidating and overwhelming at times because there are so many products to choose from.
Not to mention, the shoppers are either my niece’s age or in college.
The day we went into the store, we were greeted by a 20 something with glass skin, not a single wrinkle and long blonde hair.
Truly, she looked like a real-life Barbie.
Once she pointed us in the right direction, my Mom and I got to work looking for a foundation that matched my skin tone.

Adventures in Budget Friendly Makeup…
I thought it would be quick and easy.
But once we found the foundation, we looked at the powders, the concealers, the blushes, bronzers, eyeshadows and lipsticks.
Then we lost track of time in the skincare aisles.

As we placed budget friendly items in our basket, my Mom looked at me and said, “Isn’t this so much fun? I would never have the confidence to try all these things without you being here. I’m so excited.”
There was something about the twinkle in her eye that made me forget she was my Mom.
So, I let that feeling of makeup shopping with your bestie hang in the air a bit.

As we walked to the front to pay, we saw the 20 something with gorgeous glass skin behind the counter.
“I’m so happy you found some things,” she said genuinely.
“I love it when customers discover new products. You’re going to love these. Do you mind if I tell you a little more about them?”
Her excitement was so palpable, it made me realize my idea of creating Galentine’s Day gift baskets filled with K-Beauty products and other budget friendly finds would be such a fun surprise.

Keep In Mind…
Keep in mind, gift baskets like these work best when you know the recipient really well.
So, before gifting make sure you read all the labels and consider any potential allergies.

Here are some of the products I chose for my Galentine’s Day gift baskets.
Some of these products I already use and love, some were recommended by others and some I’m simply curious about trying.

Beauty Basket How To’s…
As you can see from the photos above, I also included a pair of DIY Valentine’s Day Pajamas, the book “The Little Paris Book Shop,” a journal, mug, loose leaf teas, bath salts and a weighted sleep mask.
Truthfully, gift baskets like these are so easy to put together.
Simply build up the base of the basket with floral foam, line the basket with tissue paper or fabric, add your basket goodies and a card.
Then finish off with festive crinkle paper and a ribbon if you like.

Another Galentine’s Day gift basket idea to try is the budget friendly Holy Hydration line by ELF.
These items work great in a basket for someone who prefers the basics or doesn’t have time for an in depth routine.

What I Love About Budget Friendly Beauty Gift Basket Ideas…
What I love about gifts like these is that they don’t have to be big, expensive or elaborate unless you want them to be.
I also love that we’re are all going to be trying out products at the same time.
That way we can share how they’re working.

Honestly, I can’t tell you how many times, my Mom and I have already called each other about the products we picked up on our trip.
