This Week’s Tip Sheet: A Tidy Bathroom Retreat
Hello beautiful friends, welcome to Week 5 of the 52 Weeks to a Simplified and Organized Home Challenge.
This week we’re working to declutter and organize the primary bathroom and goodness are there a lot of spaces to tackle.
From linen closets to cabinets to vanity drawers to countertops and how we sort our laundry, there’s so much to consider.
One of the things that helps me stay on track is to physically walk through my morning and evening routines and to identify any pain points.
That way, I have a clear understanding of how I use each space in the bathroom and which areas I need to organize and simplify.
Once those steps are complete, I ask myself, “How can I make this process easier or better?”
Then I take action.
Keep in mind you don’t always need a major overhaul, rather simple solutions that make a lasting impact.
Now, on to This Week’s Tip Sheet!

This Week’s Wellness Tip:
When it comes to showers and baths, take a few extra moments to create a calming and relaxing experience.
- Lay out your undergarments, outfit or pajamas before you take your shower or bath. That way, they’ll be ready when you get out.
- Choose lighting that feels warm and cozy.
- Create a sensory experience by incorporating aromatherapy with essential oils or candles.
- Explore dry brushing and scalp massage.
- Find a body wash, exfoliating scrub, shower steamer set, essential oil, bubble bath, bath bomb or bath soak you enjoy.
- Use a bath pillow and a tub caddy to help keep essentials together.
- Listen to daily affirmations, meditations or a motivational playlist while you’re getting ready.
- Speak to your dermatologist about the best way to protect and moisturize your skin.
- Create an easy-to-follow makeup, skincare and hair routine.
- Choose body towels, hair towels, robes and rugs that feel luxurious.

I loved your tidy bathroom ideas. Having a place to keep like items tidy is a must. I have personally been trying to make better use of drawers and cabinet space, to make my bathroom counter less cluttered. The space feels so much more peaceful having everything put away in a tidy, easily accessible location.
I’m taking on the linen closet this week! It has been on my to do list for a month, but this is inspiring me to get it done!!!😊
Great tips! I especially like your quote of the week! It’s so true! Happy organizing!
