From the Front Porch

How has your week been? Good, I hope. As you guys know our calendars have been packed with birthday parties lately. No playing from November 10 to February 25 we’ve celebrated 4 major holidays, 9 birthdays and 1 anniversary. I’m pretty sure I’m going to need to go on a sugar detox after this weekend because I’ve eaten my weight in sweets during that time. Despite the endless travel, take out on the road and rushing to pick up gifts in between projects it is a blessing to have such a big family and so many reasons to celebrate.

We’re on the hunt for some cool boho chic accessories for Hawk’s Ridge. These would make my brother in law giggle.

They have an extensive record collection so she’ll probably need an updated version of one of these.

This side table is reasonably priced and got good reviews if you’re looking for something modern.

I told my sister the other day we should incorporate a leather poof in her living room plans. The stitching on this one is really pretty.

This rug is a fabulous neutral if your style is more Scandenavian than boho chic. And it’s also a good price.

This desk is a great option if you straddle the fence between modern and rustic.

I hope you all have a peace filled and relaxing weekend. We’re off to an estate sale today, a birthday party tomorrow and I’m hoping a nap on Sunday ha ha. We have a great week coming up next week as we ease into spring with decorating ideas and I’m hoping to share some of the progress we’re making on the home office makeover.
