DIY Celebration Memory Board

We’re sharing a quick and easy DIY celebration memory board idea today!

Let me ask you a serious question.

How many times have you crawled into bed after a wildly busy day unable to remember how you actually spent it?

Or were gobsmacked by how quickly a week or a month went by?

Or asked yourself, “Where has the year gone?” on December 31st.

Same.

Without a doubt, I’ve 100% been there too!

In fact, knew something had to change when I found myself referring to the previous month’s calendar because I couldn’t figure out how we’d spent our days either.

It’s been a game-changer for our family and I hope it helps you as well.

Here’s a look at how to create a quick and easy DIY celebration memory board…

DIY Celebration Memory Board Supplies:

  • Large Picture Frame (with backing) or Cork Board
  • Plain Kraft Paper or Wrapping Paper (thicker paper works better)
  • Measuring Tape or Ruler
  • Scissors
  • Push Pins, Double-Sided Tape, or Glue Adhesive
  • Markers
  • Numbers or Letters Banner (optional)

DIY Celebration Memory Board Steps:

Gather your supplies and make sure your work surface is free from dirt, debris, and clutter.

Use a ruler or a measuring tape to gather the measurements of your corkboard or picture frame.

Then using caution and care as scissors will be sharp, cut your kraft paper or heavy-duty wrapping paper to size.

Next, place the paper on the top of your corkboard or inside your picture frame.

Secure in place with push pins or glue adhesive.

Next add an embellishment such as the current year or the name of your quick and easy DIY celebration memory board recipient, if desired.
