From the Front Porch: Goodbye Summer, Hello Fall

Happy Thursday from the front porch sweet friends and welcome to the Goodbye Summer, Hello Fall Edition of this weekly series.

How has your week been?

We officially kicked off the Fall season with a PSL, went to my nephew’s football game, celebrated being featured alongside some of my favorite creatives in Country Sampler Farmhouse Style Magazine, pulled out all the pumpkins so we could start decorating, made big pot of chili and a bonfire, caught up on Emily in Paris, and brought dinner to my sister’s house because my niece had knee surgery this week.

Tomorrow, my Mom is coming over so we can calendar and attend an event and after that we’re going to fully enjoy the long Labor Day weekend.

While there are so many things to love about this time of year, I’m also mindful of the lessons we’ve learned over the summer season.

Lessons that were beautifully simple on one hand yet hard won on the other.

As we ease into what promises to be a season filled with cozy adventures, I encourage you to continue the rituals that served you well, recommit to healthy habits, reset your schedule, or reestablish the routines that help enrich your life.

As always, I’ll be cheering you on.

  • Dress (Add a jean jacket or a cardi to this dress and you’ll be able to enjoy it in warm weather states)
  • Bar Cart (Sent this adorable cart to my sister who’s redoing her back patio area)
  • Melamine Dinnerware Set (This set would be great for a second home or rental property on the beach)
  • Sunscreen (This top rated sunscreen gives just enough tint without having to put on a full face of makeup)
  • Earrings (These coastal inspired earrings are so budget friendly, you’ll want one of each shape)
  • Striped Dress (Comes in a variety of colors and is easy to dress up or down)
  • Fire Pit Bowl (A mini option if you don’t have space for a full firepit in your backyard)
  • Napkin Set (These come in so many different colorways and can be used throughout the year)
  • Canvas Tote (This would make such a cute swag bag or girls trip idea)
  • Sandals (These come in neutral colors and have a fun embellishment)
  • Cover Up (Available in multiple colors)
  • Foldable Chair (I love that these have a coastal feel but don’t take up a lot of storage space)
  • Towel (Cabana towels are always in style)
  • Portable Net (No courts, no problem)
  • Bracelet (Budget friendly and comes in multiple chain styles)
  • Shorts and Sweatshirt (A cozy set to throw on after a day at the beach)

I hope you have a peace filled and relaxing weekend, we can’t wait to share more next week!

Until next time, I’ll see you on Instagram, Facebook and Pinterest.

Many blessings,

CoCo

I’ve been looking for a 60th birthday gift for my bestie and let me just say – it’s difficult. What do you buy the person who has everything? Your Amazon choices this week are great! I’m thinking tabletop fire pit? We’ll see. I’ve asked her kids if she already has one. I need to put that on my list of wants for Christmas!
Hope y’all have a wonderful Labor Day weekend and enjoy that time with your mom. XO
