From the Front Porch: St. Patrick’s Day Edition
Happy Friday from the front porch sweet friends and welcome to the St. Patrick’s Day Edition.
I know it may seem kind of early to share St. Patrick’s Day inspo but given Easter is early this year (March 31st) we’re looking forward to dedicating the entire month of March to all things Spring.
Honestly, it’s hard to believe we’re almost at the end of February, you know?
While I can genuinely say, this month hasn’t gone exactly as planned there have still been plenty of fabulous things to celebrate. From being featured in the most recent edition of Country Sampler Farmhouse Magazine to toasting friendships on Galentine’s Day to commemorating the final day of our pod’s Holiday Hustle to observing Lent, to researching everything from meal delivery services to mattresses to all the small appliances that need to be replaced this year, to helping my Mom cross some things off her 24 in ‘24 bucket list and lots of rest and recovery time from the flu in between, it’s been a big month of self-discovery and silver linings.
We’ve also taken a deep dive into decluttering and organizing the kitchen as part of the 52 Weeks to a Simplified and Organized Home Challenge.
It’s the perfect place to score big wins and little wins to help you nourish your heart and home throughout the year.
After all, you can score a little win like decluttering your utensil drawer in minutes, or score a big win by spending a few hours executing your vision for a beautiful pantry as you have time.
And that “zero pressure to get it all done in one day” mentality has allowed everyone participating in the challenge to intentionally reassess their needs from how their indoor coffee station functions to organizing their cabinets into work-friendly zones.
So, as we prepare to move into a fresh month, I encourage you to celebrate the big wins, the little wins, and the moments of grace that made this month a memorable one.
As always, I’ll be cheering you on.
PS: If you’re a subscriber and haven’t had a chance to weigh in on the question posted in Wednesday’s email there’s still time. So many of you have graciously responded with your heartfelt opinions and your insights have been invaluable – thank you!

Congratulations on the magazine feature! That is so exciting, but I’m not surprised at all! Your things are all magazine worthy!
Such a sweet and thoughtful thing to say, Susan, thank you so much. I really appreciate it! Sending you lots of hugs and hoping your weekend is a blessed one, CoCo
I always look forward to reading your lovely posts. Hugs and blessings to you.
Thank you so much, Renae, I really appreciate it. Hope you have the best weekend! Hugs, CoCo
Such a fun month it’s been!! Looking forward to March and all thins Spring! Happy weekend, friend!
Me too, Rachel! It’s still pretty chilly in Florida but I’m so excited to start planting container gardens and to break out all the Easter decor. Big hugs, CoCo
Wooo hoooooo! Congratulations on the magazine feature! I can’t wait to see it. So exciting.
And best wishes for a speedy recovery from the flu. I’m currently being evaluated for pneumonia. Bleargh. But it’s a gorgeous day here in the Pacific Northwest, and I’m watching some chickadees who are looking for a nesting site. They’re so adorable!
Aww thank you so much, Corrie. It was such a fun way to kick off the spring season. I’ll definitely be keeping you in my prayers and sending you so much love and light. My Dad had pneumonia last year and it was tough to watch him go through it and I hate to think about you sick or hurting in any way too. I’m thankful you’re able to slow down, get some rest and look for silver linings like the chickadees that come to visit. Hope is such an important gift! Take care of yourself and know that I’m sending you tons of hugs, CoCo
I am trying (just now… better late than never, right?!) to print the quarterly lists for 52 weeks to a simplified and organized home challenge but I cannot figure out how to print the pages. The text says to click the image to print pages, but nothing happens when I click the image. Can you help or is it too late…
Thanks,
L
It’s never too late to start, Lois! I will have tech support check on how we can make it easier to download. Until then, I will send you what you need so you can get started. Hope you have the best weekend, CoCo

Your features in the magazine were amazing. I’m sorry you had a tough month. Looking forward to March and Spring.
Thank you for sharing my topiary post. You are the bestest. I absolutely adore the idea of a seasonal bucket list. Why wait until fall or Christmas to savor the season? That’s dumb! I will be making my bucket list before March 1st and can hardly wait to get started. I have to wait until this weekend but I am looking forward to checking out the organizing and good habit links. I bet I point a few fingers in my direction before the end of the first post. 😉 Wishing you a spring season of fun, rest and joy. Big hugs.
Congratulations on the magazine feature! Well deserved
Congrats on the magazine feature….I mean features! I kept seeing your images over and over again CoCo! You have so many creative ideas 🙂 Hugs to you 🥰
Hello CoCo!! Thank you for sharing my Spring Bucket List post! As I write this, I am washing slipcovers and cleaning the hall entryway. It’s amazing how much sand gets tracked into the house over winter. I love that your Mom has a list of 24 in 2024. Such a good idea. Also, just wanted to let you know, for some reason – I don’t receive your Crowned Goat emails. I have signed up at least twice and I check my spam folders (and do searches in my in box) but for some reason – I don’t get them. (Which I am bummed out about). Also, thank you for sharing Cindy’s project . It is a lovely project to share for spring! Plus she worked her tail off on that little hutch. She had to strip NINE layers of paint . . ugh! Happy Sunday my friend!
Hi CoCo! I’m so excited to hear about your magazine feature! Your home always looks so beautiful and is magazine-worthy! I’m going to put it on my shopping list now! Can’t wait to see it! Hope you have a wonderful week! Hugs, Donna
