From the Front Porch

Happy Friday, you guys! This week, oh my word, THIS WEEK! It’s been a hard week…like a week from you know where.   I’m so glad today is Friday and we can celebrate making it through the craziness. I can laugh about it now but the entire time I was struggling with “episodic fits of frustration” part of my mind was saying, “Beware the Ides of March” and the other part was saying, “If it’s worth doing, do it now.” Nothing like quoting Shakespeare and Martha Stewart at the same time to keep you on your game ha ha!

Thank you again so much for all of your patience, understanding and support as we navigate our way through these growing pains and growth spurts. You guys were awesome to reach out to us and make sure things were all ok. It’s hard when you’ve done your part and then you pass the baton and wait for the next person to do their part and then next and the next as it goes up the chain, you know? There are definitely lessons to be learned in the waiting and this situation has allowed us to evaluate so many aspects of how we handle all things Goat. No doubt, there will be a silver lining from this situation.

Scenes from my week:

So this happened…while I was on it… * just a few hours before this happened. I know. * This little lady has been breaking my heart lately. Canine dementia is no joke. It’s tough to know how to help her sometimes. Keep us in your prayers, ok? * This faith based book is a really good one. It’s not ironic that I finished it this week either. I’ve had plenty of opportunities to put the words into practice. I’m learning imperfect progress is still progress. *

Hold your heart for this European Farmhouse Home Tour…I know! My mom will be calling me in just a few minutes.

The perfect place to practice your photography skills. Every picture is gorgeous.

This looks so relaxing….that Spanish moss…that fabulous blanket…sign me up today…swoon.

How Batch Cooking Will Change Your Life

Speaking of cooking, how delicious does this look? I wouldn’t even have thought to pair those flavors together but I’m excited to try it now.

These have a vintage quality about them without being all “Hey, your Granny called and wants her jammers back!”

Love, Love, Love this

A French Country Farmhouse isn’t complete without this.

Every time I post pictures of the bedroom people ask me about the ruffled bedskirt. You can find a similar one here.

Someone that lives in Bliss Barracks needs this on their lanai. Hint, hint!

These bee pillows are giving me all the feels!

Has anyone read this book yet? What about this one?

I hope you all have a peace filled and relaxing weekend. We’re off to a sip and shop event tonight, 15K training on Saturday and I’m hoping a fabulous brunch Sunday depending on how much progress we make in the office on Saturday. So far, we’re at a complete standstill. This week was just too crazy to tackle anything even remotely related to the office makeover but I’m hopeful we’ll be back to making progress in no time.

We have a great week coming up next week as we share jadeite inspired cupcake stands, DIY St. Patrick’s Day tablescape ideas and an easy succulent centerpiece you can use indoors or out. Until then, I’ll see you on Instagram, Facebook and Pinterest over the weekend and back here on Monday.

Many blessings,

CoCo
