From the Front Porch: Goodbye April, Hello May

Hello from the front porch sweet friends.

Thanks so much for being here and for making us part of your day.

How has your week been?

Are you ready for all the exciting things coming your way in May?

I can hardly believe it’s already here!

April was such a beautiful one.

We celebrated two special birthdays, honored Holy Week, Easter and commemorated several national days which was fun.

I attended my first hockey game, found a signature scent, added weights to my weighted vest, tried out a few new restaurants, and painted the porch and patio.

They’ve been on my to-complete list since last year so it felt really good to finally cross them off.

The thing I’ve been looking forward to most though, is our Habits for Purposeful Living Challenge Week 6 celebration.

My Mom and I made a bucket list of all our favorite things from the Challenge, and we’ve had such a great time capturing those moments together.

Truth be told, I wasn’t sure what to expect when we started.

Looking back though, I’m incredibly thankful we dove right in.

It’s made such a big difference in both of our lives.

The posts will only be available for a little while longer.

So, if you’re new here or want to catch up, you can find Week 1 here, Week 2 here, Week 3 here, Week 4 here, Week 5 here and the reason we started the Habits for Purposeful Living Challenge here.

I’ll share Week 6 which will be the final post of the series (save for maybe an occasional monthly update if you want) on the blog next week.

Thank you again to everyone who has supported those posts.

I appreciate it more than you know!

Whatever you have planned this month, I hope it brings you joy.

  1. Hi, CoCo! Thank you for all these great ideas and resources. I especially love the “10 Old-House Features” article link. I want to put every single one of them in our house! I remember the Dutch door in the nursery at church when I was growing up and how I was captivated by it. It would be so fun to have one now, even though it probably wouldn’t work for us. Still, those doors always make me smile…

I love all these dresses, too. It’s so fun to browse/shop with you! 😉

    Have a wonderful weekend!

  2. Coco,
Weights are always a good thing! How are you enjoying your weighted vest? It’s funny because the saying is so true, everything old is new again. I had a weighted vest 20 years ago, then donated it to the Goodwill 5 years ago. Now I have a new one because apparently I need one now.
Thank you for including my Derby Party Food. I love the Derby, the hats and the horses.
I hope that you had a wonderful Easter.
    Have a lovely weekend.

  3. I’ve been wanting to get a weighted vest! Everyone who has one seems to love them and the benefits. Thank you so much for sharing my pansy centerpiece post! I hope you have a blessed weekend, CoCo!

  4. Hey CoCo, I still can not believe it’s May already! The year is flying by! Thanks for sharing all your great finds with us, including my DIY teacup candles! I appreciate it so much! I’m looking forward to your final post in the series! Have a wonderful week!
