• DIY Leather Pulls

If you had a chance to read yesterday’s post you’ve already seen the leather pulls we used on the boho chic inspired media cabinet for Hawk’s Ridge. I also knew we could make our own using basic items from our local craft supply store in an effort to a little bit of money for other projects we’re working on. Here’s a look at how we created DIY Leather Pulls and how you can too…

Boho Chic Inspired Media Cabinet Makeover

For the past few weeks we’ve been looking for a media cabinet for Hawk’s Ridge, a new project I’m working on. I was wondering if we were ever going to find anything when we started cleaning out our home office and I realized we were sitting on the perfect piece already. The only problem was the cottage style office console looked nothing like what we’d envisioned for Hawk’s Ridge – not even close. This makeover is one of the biggest transformations we’ve ever completed. Here’s a look at how we turned a cottage style office console into a boho chic media cabinet…

    Home Office Makeover Plans

Since 2014 there has been one room in the house that I’ve always longed to have a second chance at decorating. At the time we didn’t really understand our home’s style nor did we have a lot of extra money so I thrifted all the accessories and used the furniture we had on hand to makeover the office. Thankfully, the time has come to bring this dated space up to our current style. Here’s a peek at our home office makeover plans…

My Closet – One Year After Using the KonMari Method

In December of 2015, I had had it. I was fairly tidy in all areas of my home with the exception of one space…my closet. I was basically dressing out of a laundry basket every single day because I hated putting my clothes away THAT much. It’s been a year since I started using the KonMari Method of Decluttering. Here’s a peek at how my closet looks today…

  • How to Make a Monogrammed Tea Towel

In early January, my bestie S babysat my little dogs so I could be out of town. My oldest dog struggles with canine dementia and can be a lot of extra work. Thankfully, S was up for the challenge so I wanted to make her something special as part of a thank you gift. This farmhouse inspired monogrammed tea towel can be made in an afternoon and can be customized for any occasion. Here’s a look at how you can Make a Monogrammed Tea Towel too…

  • Tips for Shopping Renninger’s Extravaganza

In yesterday’s post, I shared 17 Ways to Celebrate Valentine’s Day with a list of easy and mostly budget friendly gifts to celebrate the day. One of the first ideas on the list was “Take a Trip.” If you live in Florida or plan to visit and haven’t had the chance to explore Mount Dora yet, I highly recommend it. While you’re there, you should also experience the massive outdoor sale at Renninger’s Extravaganza which happens only three times a year. Here are a few tips for shopping the Renninger’s Extravaganza…

  • When Love Shows Up

Let me just start off by saying this is not the post I had originally intended to write. After sharing posts from my mom’s birthday brunch this week, I fully intended to share a magical birthday experience of my own. But this post isn’t about any of that at all. This post is about how love showed up and saved my milestone birthday…
